RE: Approval of District Distance Learning Plans
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced schools to close for an undetermined amount of time. In an executive order, Governor Burgum has directed school districts to develop plans for age-appropriate distance learning plans based on guidance from the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
I am pleased to let you know Superintendent Baesler and Governor Burgum have reviewed and approved your District Distance Learning Plan.
If you have further questions, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or (701) 328-2755.
Teachers and staff here at Starkweather School are currently working to develop a plan to make lessons available to students in the event that Governor Burgum cancels school for the week of March 23rd-27th. Please take a moment to fill out the following short questionnaire to help us determine the best way to go about providing materials and support to our families. Feel free to call the school if you have any questions!

Dr. Frank White gave a presentation on the health risks and dangers associated with Vaping at the Mid-winter NESC Conference held on January 20, 2020. His presentation is informative and thoroughly researched, citing the most up-to-data on the health risks associated with vaping. The data presented in his PowerPoint was taken from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. I strongly urge parents, guardians, and community members to take the time to review this presentation as part of our on-going community outreach program designed to put an end to underage vaping.
