Starkweather Public School Posts

As the weather turns colder, please remember to send kiddos to school with all of their warm outdoor clothes! We go outside for recess at least twice a day, and we don’t want any cold bones. Make sure all items are labeled – all black snowpants look the same to us!

Elementary Field Trip Tomorrow!

Students in grades K-6 will be traveling to Patch on the Point in East Grand Forks tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be chilly, so bundle up! If you haven’t already done so, make sure to turn your permission slips and $3 admission fee in to the office. Students will also need a sack lunch.

Upcoming Flu Shot Clinic

There will be Flu Shot Clinic in the Starkweather School Library on Wednesday, October 3rd from 8:30-10:00am. All insurances are accepted; bring your Medicare B card or other form of insurance if you are new to the Lake Region District Health Unit. Everyone is welcome, no appointment needed! If you have any questions, you can contact LRDHU at 701-662-7040.

Get Ready for School!

Our first day of school is Tuesday, August 21st! Make sure you have everything you need to start the school year off on the right foot. Elementary students should have received welcome letters/supply lists from their classroom teachers. If you did not receive one, please call the office ASAP (701-292-4381)!
